The meaning of life is to live. You have to remember that even in the Bible when Abraham, Joseph, Job, David died it doesnt say they died happy because they found the truth, or they found Jehovah, or they were on the ministry, or Jehovah is happy with them etc. It says they died happy because they were "full of years" or "satisfied with life". Our mission is to have a full and great life. So before we will die we will appreciate our life and thank God for giving us this chance. 👍

i am a born-in but left nearly a year ago at age 16. i would say when i was a jw and was still fully convinced that it is the truth, i was happier.
i have a hope then.

My impressions of the cart witnessing
by Sour Grapes ini have watched tons of youtube videos of our exjdub friends approaching and talking to the jdub manikins at their carts as they give a great witness to the world by sipping their hot lattes, updating their social media, chit chatting to each other, and the most important thing of getting their time in, counting their hours.. when the jw's see someone approach with a camera they do several things, they will turn their backs on the person, or look at the person with a frown and act like the person isn't even there.
the witlesses refuse to answer simple, clear, and precise questions.
when i was an elder i loved to get into discussions and debates with trinitarians, priest, clergymen and those who were born again.

The Organisation will slowly turn into a usual religion where people go because their parents used to go. We might wonder why they are not eager enough to defend their views. Because the majority of JW fully understand that the organisation is just humans club that has nothing to do with God. Why are they still there we might ask? Parents, family, friends and fear that are the reasons. I am not disfellowshiped yet, I haven't done anything bad. But a few weeks ago when JW fully understood that I am not planning to change my mind I had crazy reaction from so called brothers and sisters. I received horrible full of hate text messages. I lost instantly dozens of friends on FB and IG. Do I care? No I don't. I am happy I am out. I just feel sad for brothers and sisters who have to go to the meetings and pretend they love it only because they are afraid to experience what I had a few weeks ago. Very sad 😪

It always puzzles me why jw are trying to bring someone who is clearly never coming back. It seems some of them think that by pretending to be friendly it will get them somewhere. Well actually it does work. I have seen many times how elders and overseers enjoy flattery 😂😂

Jehovah Misses Me

it seems god only sees me if i go to the meetings.

Edenone. I wish you all the strength to overcome your situation. Life is very complex. Please don't blame yourself or your partner. We as human beings can't predict the future. Relationships is one of the reason I wrote my book. I hope that after reading it people will feel better about themselves. Knowing that its not their fault and that there is a way out. By the way I have been to Algarve a couple of times. You are very lucky to live in Portugal. 😎👍

Still Totally Add. Hopefully it will. The character by the name "Sara" is the ex jw. It is very difficult to explain jw behavior. I could never explain to people how can a whole family avoid their disfellowshiped family member. And as a jw I was always embarrassed if someone asked me that. I never supported that idea.
